Video Production

How It All Began

My first encounter with video editing was when I convinced my 8th grade teacher to let me make videos instead of write essays. In those videos I was writer, talent, and editor. Later in 8th grade I, after being tired of waiting for the video of the 8th grade play to come out, took it upon myself to learn how to edit long form videos, in Windows Movie Maker. I had not yet learned the art of audio editing, so I sent the finished video to the tech department, and they did all the audio for me. The next show I learned how to use Audacity, and did all the production myself. From there I’ve been called in to edit the video of most of my school’s productions.
